For this procedure to be successful, you need to be in good overall health. This will allow your skin and tissues to heal properly during recovery. Arm lift surgery might be right for you if you are experiencing loose or hanging skin in your upper arms. Before you undergo the procedure, it is important that you are close to a healthy weight. 


Arm Lift Surgery & Recovery

You should expect to be fully recovered in two weeks. This will include lots of rest, arm elevation, and plenty of arm elevation. You should allow your body to heal properly after your procedure. Your arms are used for nearly all activities, so we encourage patients back to their routines.  

We will schedule another appointment to follow-up with you after approximately ten more days. Your surgeon will also provide you with detailed instructions for aftercare to help you get back to your regular activities. You will need to refrain from strenuous activity for at most 4 to 5 weeks. However, you can take short walks. You should call us immediately if there is excessive swelling, fluid buildup or signs of infection.
